X-Ray Setu On WhatsApp For Covid Detection: Marvelous Technology! We can do the Corona test e in 15 minutes using WhatsApp message service. - Artificial Intelligence or AI-based X-Ray Setu was created by a special team of researchers controlled by the Centre's Ministry of Science and Technology. Who has created this sophisticated technology?
This special technology called X-Ray Setu was created by AI & Robotics Body Artpark (AI & Robotics Technology Park). It is a non-profit organization created by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in Bangalore. Aartpark has been assisted in this endeavor by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Government of India, Health Tech Startup Niramai in Bangalore and of course the Indian Institute of Science (IISC).
In an interview with the media, Artpark CEO Umakanta Soni said, “This X-Ray Setu has been developed in a joint venture between the start-up company Niramai and the Indian Institute of Science. This special technology, which is easily processed by the AI system, can easily detect a patient with Covid with the help of X-Ray. With this sophisticated and advanced technology, patients do not have to spend any money on covid testing.
Now the question is, how is the Covid test possible with the help of this technology?
Suppose a person has symptoms of covid in his body. But it is very difficult for him to test Kovid. The radiologist or doctor will take an X-ray of his chest and upload it to the X-Ray Setu WhatsApp chatbot. Within 10-15 minutes from there it can be caught whether the person is infected with covid at all. "For the past week, a special team of 500 doctors has been working around the clock with this technology," said Umakanta Soni, CEO of Artpark. "We want to strengthen this network by creating a special team of 10,000 doctors in the next 15 days," he added. Each of them will be trained with X-Ray Setu. If there is ever a third wave of corona in India, then it is very easy to do a large amount of testing is possible.
Is covid testing possible even if the X-ray image is faulty?
Doctors say yes it is possible. Because, this Xray Setu AI platform has been created and specially designed to identify Covid positive patients. Even if you send low-resolution images of the X-ray of the book, it can be detected from WhatsApp, the developers said. This Xray Setu AI platform has semantic anonymity to easily identify the areas of the country where the number of patients with covid is high.
How do doctors identify a patient with covid with the X-Ray Setu AI platform?
Method 1 - The doctor must first visit xraysetu.com. Then click on the 'Try The Free XraySetu Beta' button.
Method 2 - From there a new page will open, where the doctor will connect the WhatsApp-based chatbot with the help of web or smartphone application. Doctors can also send a WhatsApp message to +91 8046163838 to launch XraySetu service if they want.
Method 3 - Now the doctor has to click on the X-ray image of the patient and in just a few minutes, two pages of automated diagnostics will be available with the exact picture. Kovid's report will be caught in that diagnostics.
Method 4 - Also through this test, the doctor will be able to understand the chances of developing covid infection in the affected patient's area as well as the local temperature for his observation.
It is important to remember that the Covid test has already been successfully performed on at least 125,000 X-Ray images with the help of this Xray Setu at the National Institutes of Health in the UK. At the same time, Xray Setu has been able to show a great performance with the sensitivity of those tests at 98.86 percent and the clarity at 74.74 percent.
