EPFO UAN Number Details: It is mandatory for each of us to
have a UAN or Universal Account Number to know how much money has been
deposited in the Provident Fund. Let's find out how to create this UAN online.
Provident Fund (EPF).
Employees get the opportunity to create their own Universal Account Number
(UAN) from the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) portal. Once the 12
digit UAN number is generated, you can log in to your UAN account from the
company's website. And then you can see how much money has been deposited in
your provident fund account.
You will need your
Aadhaar card to generate a UAN number. Also, your mobile phone will be required
for verification through OTP. So, keep your mobile and Aadhaar card at hand
before starting work.
* Open Member e-Sewa on
EPFO portal.
* Select Active UAN in
the Important Links section.
* Now select the Aadhaar
option and enter your Aadhaar number.
* Then give your name,
date of birth, mobile number and captcha.
* Click the Get
Authorization Pin button.
* Now you will see all
your information on the screen. Match all the information.
* Then select the Agree
checkbox.
* Give the phone the OTP
that came.
* Click on the Validate
OTP and Activate UAN button at the end.
When all this is done,
you will get UAN number and password to your registered mobile number via
SMS. After that you can check your Provident Fund account from EPFO website at any time
through this username and password.
