Who is that woman? And why or his
picture is the only icon in the Clubhouse app?
The connection has remained elusive to many. This time digital in search of that 'mysterious' woman for all those curious minds.
The Clubhouse app is taking India by
storm as soon as it opens an account. The fun of using this app is different!
Not chatting with the world, one of the most popular social media for talking
is Clubhouse, which is called social audio sharing app in costume language. The
walk started last year. From Tesla CEO Elon Musk to Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg,
many other celebrities use this app. Before the assembly elections in West
Bengal, there was a lot of searching for this app! Because, an audio clip of
Prashant Kishore, one of the most popular political advisors in the country,
went viral. And that audio clip is recorded in the Clubhouse app.
Since then, there has been an increased enthusiasm among the people around this app. But many people still have a woman in the clubhouse app icon shining in their minds. Who is that woman? And why or his picture is the only icon in the Clubhouse app? The connection has remained elusive to many. This time digital in search of that 'mysterious' woman for all those curious minds.
Pictures of popular visual artist, technologist and social activist Drew Kataoka have been used in the Clubhouse app icon. When the app launched last year, his picture was used on the audio social media app's icon for several consecutive weeks. On April 25, 2021, the Clubhouse app was installed on the phones of about 13 million subscribers. Even then there was a picture of this majestic woman in the app icon. However, pictures of seven more people besides Drew Kataoka were used as logos in the Clubhouse app. Kataoka is eighth on that list.
Drue Kataoka
This Asian American artist has been
using Clubhouse since March 2020. He has already raised about 10 1 million for
the #StopAsianHate campaign from various rooms in the Clubhouse. Kataoka was
accompanied by Dr. Bernice King, CEO of King Center. Kataoka also persuaded
Clubhouse authorities to add the option to withdraw money for various
activities within the app. Now you understand, how much is his contribution!
And his worthy honor is anywhere else except the app logo!
At a time when hatred of Asians was
growing in the US world, Kataoka organized a special discussion for his 700,000
followers at the Clubhouse. And that's why he created a special room called
#StopAsianHate.

He even has his 'Zero Gravity Art Exhibit' on the International Space Station. It is learned that his art will also get a place in the NFT event.
